Community Facility and Services Expansion

Queens Community House’s $9.4 million renovation of its Forest Hills community center in Queens upgraded the facility to support programs for youth, seniors, immigrants, and working families, including afterschool care, ESOL and citizenship classes, workforce development, and a food pantry. Monge Capital structured NMTC and bridge financing with city and state support to expand vital community services.

Estimated Economic and Social Impact

Retention of 8 permanent jobs. QCH will serve over 1,685 community members through their food pantry, tenant support, and health and education support.
