Destination Crenshaw
Nonprofit Expansion and Cultural Infrastructure
Destination Crenshaw is a $102.8 million, 1.3-mile public infrastructure and cultural project in Los Angeles. Designed to uplift and support Black artists and businesses, it includes park-like community spaces, murals, and cultural landmarks.
Monge Capital supported the NMTC financing structure that helps activate economic development along the Crenshaw Corridor while preserving the community’s rich history.
Estimated Economic and Social Impact
Creation over 600 construction jobs, 40 permanent jobs, 100 commissioned local artists, 10 new parks, & planting of over 800 trees.
