The $30.9 million revitalization of Edmondson Village Shopping Center was led by Chicago TREND, a Black-led real estate firm. This 135,000 square foot project overturned restrictive covenants and created local wealth-building by enabling community ownership.
Monge Capital supported NMTC and grant funding to empower equitable economic development in West Baltimore.
Estimated Economic and Social Impact
Supports 200 permanent jobs and 45 construction jobs. 200 community residents participating in ownership creating wealth.
