Federally Qualified Health Center Expansion
A new two-story extension was developed for a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the South Bronx. The Article 28 facility provides routine primary care, mammography, optometry, podiatry, nutritional counseling, and mental health services, and is fully integrated into UHP's clinical structure. Upon completion, the center has the capacity to support up to 18,000 outpatient visits annually.
Monge Capital arranged financing to advance long-term health equity for residents of the South Bronx.
Estimated Economic and Social Impact
30 new permanent jobs and approximately 50 construction jobs. Target of 18,000 outpatient visits per year.
