Following Hurricane Maria, Monge Capital supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico through a $15 million financing initiative that stabilized operations across 12 clubhouse locations. The 48,000 square foot effort preserved 450 jobs and ensured continued services for 15,000 students and 4,000 families, reinforcing long-term youth development and community resilience during a period of major disruption.
Monge Capital structured and secured a working capital NMTC financing to stabilize operations.
Estimated Economic and Social Impact
Supports 175 jobs. NUL will endeavor to provide job training services for retailers for up to 200 individuals.
